Today we left our hotel and looked for my camera with no success though we know it’s in the car somewhere and are planning to look for it when we arrive at the KOA. We went to Capital Reef National Park today and drove the scenic route where there were cliffs on both sides of us. We couldn’t go into the gorge because of flash flood warnings, due to some rain. We did however get to see some Indian cave drawings that were real cool. There were some of mountain goat and people. Later in the day we went on a 6 mile hike roundtrip where at the end was a bone chilling cold waterfall. We arrived there and no one dared go in. We poked our feet in and found freezing water. I took some steps back and charged into the water and was the first one in and under. It was so cold! After that I went in some more and found that running in was the best. Later everyone was in (for a short time). It didn’t beat jumping off the cliffs but it was still awesome.
